OVERALL WINNER

Green Fire of London – Ben Weir

For the winning entry, Green Fire of London, Ben Weir proposed an eternal flame dedicated to 21st century planning departments & developers on a vast pier extending into the Thames with the South Bank green space being the location for cranes and loading equipment. The flames would be fuelled by the systematic of removal of trees from London’s parks which, in turn, frees up vast tracts of new land for developers to use for luxury constructions. Smoke from the flames would obliterate views up and down the river.
